Statement-

My work travels in between the sidelines of a variety of mediums, seeking to capture the attention of the individual who engages with it. The thin line that separates the different mediums of my production is blurred by merging them within my artistic practice, integrating and blending the different methodologies that base my line of work in order to produce content that challenges the established academic and labour structure immersed within contemporary society.

Through my work, I propose to deprive the contemporary individual of their conception around intimacy, showcasing content that acknowledges the repressive and traumatising influence of the current social system. I approach and develop my practice through the methodology of an introspective and autobiographical research, focusing on the individual experience regarding anxiety and trauma as the main subject.

I reveal the intimate to the foreign eye in order to demystify the social conventions around certain taboos, question the individual constructions of ‘The Uncanny’, and present them as an element that is immersed in contemporary life. I seek to encounter a deeper layer in the incognito universe of the mind, demonstrate its subjectivity by questioning the hegemonic and normative perspective on everyday life, and question the institutionalised norms by deconstructing the ideological binds that are immersed within the individual consciousness.
